Marketing Manager

Job description / Role

Our client is an established family group with a track record in entrepreneurial success across a variety of industries, employing over 1500 people worldwide. Their recent DIFC based multi strategy Hedge Fund launch employs non-directional option trading strategies across a range of derivative markets including fixed income, equity, commodity and currency, to generate attractive risk adjusted returns for investors. With an experienced and ambitious management team in place, they are looking to bring onboard a handful of Key Hires; offering an exceptional career opportunity to join a dynamic and energetic team, geared towards long-term success.

The role requires a creative individual to develop the brand of the Fund in line with the vision of the Board of Directors.
• Development of marketing publications, documents and brochures.
• Development of digital marketing tools, including social media such as LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
• Someone who can create leads for Sales with SMEs and CEOs of institutional investors.
• Work hand in hand with the Head of Sales to develop suitable material for prospective and existing investors.
• Working with third party vendors to produce high quality results, whilst protecting overheads.
• Client facing; to sit in on client meetings with management, to deliver the marketing message of the Fund.
• The role is envisaged to grow into a Head of Marketing role with support staff, as the Fund grows.

Requirements

Applicants for this role must satisfy the following:
• Experience encompassing 3+ years in a similar marketing role.
• Someone with a creative flair, who can produce results, without an extravagant budget.
• Ideas and experience related to brand development.
• Knowledge of Social Media, Digital Marketing strategies, creative publication software.
• A confident individual who can be client facing and reflect the company’s brand in a positive light.
• Independent thinker; someone who can multi-task a variety of marketing projects and deliver results in a timely manner.
• Financial acumen desired, but not a prerequisite.
• Strong English language.
• UAE based candidates with no outstanding Visa issues.
