Marketing Manager

Job description / Role

Salary: AED 18,000 + Bonus and Benefits

A well-established sports retailer are going through a growth period and are looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to continue the development of international well known and establish brands. The successful candidate will have day-to-day responsibility for developing the strategy and operational marketing plans, along with their implementation.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage all category product ranges & strategies and execute seasonal plans that deliver sustainable revenue growth and profitability, improved sell through in market and build consumer loyalty to the brand.
• Constantly monitor the assigned global range components and optimizes the local range assortment following the marketing strategies.
• Support on cost and retail pricing strategy for all GCC countries.
• Analyze range performance and sell through data.
• Support on market analysis by compiling competitor research in relevant categories.
• Understand the market, identify trends and have full knowledge of key retailers.
• Build knowledge to be able to maintain product information systems according to process time-lines.
• Help to prepare range presentations; in the second step present own ranges with guidance from superior with regards to structure and content.
• Contribute to the implementation of the go-to-market direction for relevant ranges in partnership with Global counterparts.
• Support on sales meeting: sample tracking, showroom set- up, catalogue and printed catalogue.
• Contribute to the organization of the sales meeting set up and transition to sales meeting.
• Assist in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Marketing department.
• Build relationships with key customers with the day to day handling of necessary communication.

Requirements

The successful candidates need to have:
• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional team.
• Ability to find areas of efficiencies.
• Strong business acumen in channel distribution, net sales, margin, profit and inventory.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, written and verbal.
• Good organizational and time management skills & a proven ability to adhere to deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and working with systems / applications.
• Category specific understanding preferred. – focus on Lifestyle.
• Prior knowledge of wholesale or retail preferred.
• Experience of successfully operating in multi-cultural organization

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree, preferably in marketing / business / textile / fashion.
International mind-set.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Intermediate PC skills (MS Office programs).
