Marketing Manager - MENA

The Main Purpose of the role:
- The Marketing Manager assists the Regional Marketing Director in playing a significant role in identifying, evaluating and pursuing business building opportunities across the Brand Portfolio.
- The marketing Manager has to dedicate most of his work, energy and efforts to Operational Marketing to efficiently build the brand and support sales units in the region with cost-efficient marketing strategy.
- The Marketing Manager also plays a crucial role in stimulating and driving product innovation and development. The Marketing Manager will be in charge of brand and communication strategy, PR, advertising, package and graphic design, marketing innovation, supervision of organization of exhibitions and events.

To manage Marketing activities in MENA:
- To organize brand stewardship and implement strategy development for brands and products in the region, working in close collaboration with Units
- To manage & control marketing budget in a cost effective manner with profitable sales development objective. To ensure that decisions are implemented without delays
- To perform Market Analysis, Consumer studies and Product, Packaging and Price Positioning (Marketing Mix) in close collaboration with Units.
- To elaborate and Review sales Marketing presentations, documentations and argumentations.
- To supervise and control Distributor Promotion or Marketing projects in the Region
- To seek synergies across markets and countries the Region organizing communication about products and projects in the Region.
- To control brand and product harmonization in the region
- To coordinate Social Media and on-line Strategy execution and participate in Brand/Products promotional activities and trade shows /exhibitions, brand awareness, working with suppliers, advertisers, medias
- To elaborate communications as Public Relations to inform the business or public of company products developments, environmental and sustainability initiatives or projects, opening of new units..
- To draft answers/comments to information published related to Del Monte operations, projects, products or organization.
- To prepare weekly MENA Marketing reports for the information of head of units and commercial teams

Requirements

- Minimum 5 to 7 years overall marketing work experience
- Worked in international environment
- Degree in Marketing or Business Management
- Knowledge of MENA markets
- Understanding of Consumer behavior and of consumer needs
- Knowledge of FMCG environment
- Fluent in written and spoken English, Arabic would be a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to listen, motivate, influence, and negotiate at all levels.
- High organizational maturity and effectiveness.
- Ability to work with people in a resourceful and all inspiring manner, maximizing effective working relationships across a diverse range of functions.
- Able to demonstrate professional competence and gain credibility and command respect, both within the company and with external contacts.
- Results orientated and able to respond and adapt to demanding and changing business relationships that require flexibility to find alternative options with a positive approach.
- Self-reliant, and resilient, able to work in a small proactive team and operate autonomously, with a high degree of self-motivation, in a hands-on team.
- A team player with a sense of dynamism and enthusiasm, a passion for excellence, innovation and delivery.
