Employment: Full Time

My client is an ambitious sports company looking for a Marketing Manager to contribute to and participate in the growing of the brand awareness, market share, and product sales for various categories.

As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing the annual marketing, while gaining a detailed understanding of their customer base. The key focus of this role is to work closely with key stakeholders including sales, distribution and product teams to support their efforts in achieving revenue targets. Supported by their Events and Marketing Coordinator you will also have the opportunity to seek and leverage sponsorship and events opportunities and provide ongoing analytics, ROI and insight into market segments.

Requirements

- Develop and execute the marketing plan
- Capture consumer information to drive marketing plans
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives across social media, direct marketing, web and print media
- Attend, participate in and contribute to the weekly - Marketing meetings
- Lead, coach, mentor and manage the specific Marketing team
- In conjunction with the HR team recruitment of new staff
- Ensure self and the team follow the guidelines, policies and procedures in place

- Accountable for the full event management lifecycle
- Management of the company policies pertaining to event management
- Accountable for regular surveying of customers to identify whats working well and areas for improvement
- Facilitate, coordinate, manage or lead events from head office or in the field
- Maintain a SWOT analysis and make recommendations on how we can put in place best practice procedures
Accountable for the 5 Ps of marketing, maintaining a business and marketing plan in line with the organisations strategic plan
- Accountable for the monitoring, measuring and reporting on the advertising and promotion, including web performance (SEO, SEM and Google products)
- Work with the Social Media and Communications -Assistant to create dynamic attraction
- Training and sharing of technical knowledge with team and other members of the wider marketing group
