Employment: Full Time

The focus of this role will be the development and implementation of a marketing strategy for the multiple brands under the MAF Fashion umbrella and the alignment of the MAF Fashion brand with the MAF Group corporate brand and strategy.

- Development of a marketing strategy in conjunction with the CEO that meets business objectives and aligns with Group communication, brand and marketing initiatives
- Implementation and execution of the marketing plan within budget that drives sales and brand awareness
- Analysis of marketing initiatives including advertising, branding and promotional activity to assess return on investment
- External relationship management of agencies and service providers to the Group as well as internal contacts including corporate communication and other marketing representatives in the business
- Management of the marketing department and team ensuring the team are engaged and motivated to achieve initiatives in line with the overall strategy and Group objectives
- Preparation of press releases and all internal and external communication in alignment with the overall marketing strategy and MAF Group initiatives
- Evaluation and selection of appropriate media channels for strategic market coverage of messaging
- Monitoring of competitor activity and branding, staying abreast of how and where the MAF Fashion brands sit in the market and their effectiveness
- Develop and maintain relationships and networks with agencies and media in the market both locally and internationally to ensure the best representation of the brands
- Planning and execution of all internal and external events, launches, press releases etc including cost allocation and budget management
- Management of the marketing budget and cost allocation to ensure budgets are monitored and adhered to

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Marketing or International Business
- 10 years experience within the Advertising/PR/Marketing/Communications area at a senior level
- Management experience including large scale brand strategies
- Strong commercial analysis experience
- Intermediate level skills across the MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

In early 2013, Majid Al Futtaim Fashion announced a joint ventures agreement with the leading American retailer and casual wear clothing brand, Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (A&F), with respect to its Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch brands. The agreement is to develop Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitchs presence within the UAE, further supporting the brands international growth. As Abercrombie & Fitch Co.s first physical foray into the Middle East, the landmark joint venture partnership with Majid Al Futtaim Fashion should significantly broaden A&Fs regional potential across the GCC, further adding to the regions offering of exceptional market leading international brands.
