The Role


The Role


You will be responsible to Plan, forecast, create and implement the long term marketing strategy with a 3 year horizon to achieve the brand’s as well as group’s objectives and the brands long term plans in close association with Intersport Principals.

Achieve and exceed the market share along with marketing programs set by the brand.
Responsible for preparing and controlling the annual marketing budget for Intersport UAE; so that the structured marketing activities are carried out for achievement of the brand goal.
Plan, develop and implement advertising and sales promotion plans in conjunction with the principals and in consultation with senior Merchandisers.
Responsible for coordinating the research that Principal organises in the market through their research company.
Manage the public relation activities through the PR cell of the advertising agency in order to ensure a positive image and position for the brand within the market and general public.
Establish relation with various sports bodies in the country and manage the sponsorship of various sporting events.
Liaise with the Principal on marketing activities, research and other issues and at the same time maintain good relations whilst ensuring that the Company’s own business objectives are met.
Oversee the visual merchandising activities based on seasonal sporting activities in the country and the region.
