The RoleThe Role1. Develop and research new product opportunities as outlined in the process. 2. Identify and take actions to meet specific market opportunities for key segments/trades. The key trades are Building Construction, Mechanical & Electrical, Steel & Metal, and Interior Finishing. 3. Identify new applications for existing product range. 4. Gather and analyse market information regarding key trades, competitor strategies, innovation and other business conditions, which would impact Hilti in the market place. 5. Develop and co-ordinate SBU objectives and action plans through the 1 & 3 year planning process 6. Develop marketing strategies and plans for key products. 7. Plan trade packages, advertising and trade shows to communicate our strategies to the market in co-ordination with Sales Department. 8. Identify and drive customer base expansion program together with GM 9. Support field based staff with segment / trade specific applications and markets information. 10. Adherence to the Company’s Quality philosophy of: • Meeting customer’s needs and expectations • Continual improvement of processes, assigned tasks and related responsibilities |
RequirementsRequirementsFunctional Expertise - University degree - 3- 5 years experience in a sales/marketing role in a similar industry - Holder of Valid driving license - Applying relevant knowledge in a way easily understood and accepted by colleagues and customers Understanding the Business - Experience in a highly customer oriented industry - Preferably experience in the construction or similar industry |
