Salary: AED 18,000 - 24,000

A luxury retailer based in Dubai are looking to hire a Marketing Manager to plan and deliver high-quality, brand and sales-building local marketing activity in the region, in line with Brand Owner strategy & guidelines. Work together with General Manager and Country Manager to develop brand-building marketing plans that drive the business forward in the region.

Responsibilities:
- Develop annual marketing plan for the region:
- Develop a marketing plan for the region to build the brand and support own retail expansion.
- Activate the marketing plan across all channels.
- Evaluating each campaign/activity to ensure positive ROI and brand impact.
- Work with the General Manager to meet local budget and sales targets.
- Understand and champion the brand at a local level, ensuring the presentation of the brand is consistent with the rest of the world.
- Management of the marketing budget.
- Work closely with the management team to drive the right activities to deliver on sales targets and build the brand in each department.
- Oversee Visual merchandising for the store.
- Day-to-day management of the PR and Media agencies.
- Working with the brand owner develop a regional marketing plan every 12 months.
- Ensure activities are in line with the brand guidelines and drive all aspects of the business.
- Work with the local media agencies to develop an optimal media plan prior to Brand marketing approval.
- Work with the local PR agencies to develop PR plans for the markets.
- Hands on approach to developing PR activities in the market in cooperation with local partners.
- Oversee Visual Merchandising to ensure it is in line with the marketing campaigns and activities.
- Produce and manage a full budget for the marketing plans that makes clear the total spend.
- Gain approval for Marketing Plans from brand Country Manager.
- Brief the Brand Owner in a timely fashion to ensure the availability of required advertising executions and other required VM and marketing materials.
- Implement agreed plans in an efficient and cost-effective manner, including the implementation of seasonal VM campaigns.
- Via regular dialogue formal and informal with customers and retailers/dealers, form a detailed view of local market habits, and use this to develop consumer insights.

Requirements

- Strong educational background.
- Minimum of 8 years work experience.
- Strong marketing experience gained in either a luxury or premium retail environment, or within a strong consumer premium brand.
- Hands-on experience of developing and bringing plans to market.
- Some experience of working as part of a Global team, including marketing across multiple countries/regions.
- Works effectively with a wide variety of people. Can tailor own personal style to suit situation and ensure marketing objectives are achieved.
- Initiative and follow-through. Does not just wait for instructions to be handed out seizes the initiative to get things done.
- A true team player, happy to get involved at a hands-on level in all aspects of the role.
- A passion for the consumer and the brand, and for seeking out and applying consumer insights that can build the business.
- Good planning and organizational skills. Able to produce 12 month plans in advance at correct level of detail.
- Manages events and people either directly or through others (eg. PR agency).
- Good numerical skills and commercial acumen applied to budget management and analysis of the effectiveness of marketing activities.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
