Job description / Role
The overall role responsibility of this job is to execute the marketing initiatives in support of long term business strategy and to help the Marketing team to achieve the overall objective of the business.
Main Tasks
• Support the Marketing Manager to work with internal customers (WBG) to receive briefs based on their own campaigns and promotions.
• Make recommendations on marketing activities that can contribute to the growth of their business
• Work closely with creative agencies from writing the brief to the final execution of a project.
• Recommend innovative campaigns and mechanics for promotions.
• Lead projects to ensure they are implemented on time. Be flexible to allow for market changes.
• Track competition in order to provide innovative marketing ideas.
• Understand best practices from the industry and use these to ensure ADCB is leading with the best from all.
• Liaise with the media buying agencies to get premium positions and to constantly push them to provide better and effective media channel.
• To work towards the development of an analytical unit to provide data to measure the success rates of any marketing campaigns.
• Track, control and optimize the year round event participation needs of the group by working closely with the business and the events team.
• To own and update the WBG website Eng and Arabic.
• To update WBG marketing collaterals as and when needed.
Requirements
Experience
4-5 years experience in banking in a well established financial institution / bank.
Professional Qualification
Postgraduate degree/ diploma in Marketing/ Finance/ Management.
Certification or degree or diploma from reputed Banking Institutes.
Minimum education Level
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Finance/ Marketing or equivalent
