The RoleThe RoleYou will be responsible to market and promote the M&S brand to rest of the GCC (non UAE) through media advertising, advertorials, PR, special events and promotions, working with M&S UK to ensure marketing is on brand and using expertise of the local market to exploit the best available opportunities. Your key accountabilities would be: - Coordinating with the Marketing Manager to formulate plans for an annual budget on external media advertising, PR events, sponsorships, store opening and product campaigns. - Using your expertise in the local market in conjunction with local Store Managers to select the most suitable publications for the M&S brand. - Building good relationships with various medias across all markets, sending product to be featured and assisting in photo shoots as required. - Maintaining rapport with mall management in all locations and explore every opportunity for joint promotions. - Deciding on the budget for each promotion taking into consideration stock levels and the most cost-effective communication methods. - Working together with the Marketing Manager to decide on a budget for promoting the re-launch or opening of a new store. - In liaison with the e-commerce department, you will be responsible for designing and sending out electronic media to market the brand electronically. |
RequirementsRequirementsRequirements: - Graduate in marketing discipline - At least 2 years experience in a marketing role within an international environment - Arabic speaking a must - Willing to travel - Local market experience preferred. Desired Skills: - Proficient in MS Office - with strong skills in Powerpoint - Strong communication, both written and spoken - English and Arabic - Time management & decision making ability - Negotiation skills - Self-motivated - Team player |
