Marketing and Communications Executive

Job description / Role

An established business with a unique portfolio, are seeking a pro-active, talented and experienced Marketing and Communications executive to join the companies marketing team. The role would require the candidate to work on both long term branding strategy and day to day marketing activities as the company moves into a new period of rapid growth.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience working within a similar role. Candidates with experience with online marketing, social media, content management systems and design programmes are preferred.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Lead brand management for the company, ensuring all materials adhere to brand guidelines and advising the wider team on correct usage.
* Managing external stakeholders; ensuring they are briefed on time and produce high quality material in accordance with the brand. This involves design, copywriting and proofing across a variety of channels.
* Managing events and contact databases, organising event branding, registration process and on-site event supervision.
* Developing company marketing material. Coordinating with business units to understand objectives, receiving briefs and requirements, drafting and finalising content, proof reading, delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Regularly developing and updating content for the company website including copy, images and multimedia. Building new sections and pages using CMS.
* Processing invoices, tracking departmental spend and gaining internal approvals while adhering to strict government procurement and audit procedures.

Requirements

* Strong English Writing skills
* Minimum 4 years experience working within a marketing role
* Degree qualification (Marketing or Business degree preferred)
