Master Diagnostic Technician – Al Futtaim Motors – Lexus

Job description / Role

We require an experienced Master Diagnostic Technician to join our Lexus Workshop team in Dubai. The selected candidate should have the:

* Ability to explain the customer & sales staff the function, operation, and features of each of the following mechanisms / systems.
* Ability to do troubleshooting of  the TCCS, ECT, ABS, TEMS/ EMAS and CCS, and diagnose and repair problems quickly and accurately using testers, and diagnostic codes.
* Ability to distinguish different types of NVH and driveability problems and diagnose and repair them properly.
* Does he have the ability to gather / present technical information to be feedback to principles for product improvement
* Can he use Hi-Tech equipment and SSTs properly / accurately.
* should have the ability to recognise and diagnose customer complaints
* Ability to explain the vehicle mechanism like mention below,
* TCCS (TOYOTA COMPUTER CONTROLLED SYSTEM)/ TURBOCHARGER AND SUPERCHARGER/ ECT (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED TRANSMISSION)/ FULL-TIME 4WD (4 WHEEL DRIVE)/ TEMS (TOYOTA ELECTRONICALLY MODULATED SUSPENSION)/ EMAS (ELECTRONICALLY MODULATED AIR SUSPENSION)/ ABS (ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM) AND TRC / TRAC (TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM) CCS (CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM)/ CAR AUDIO SYSTEM/ AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have the following:

* Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
* At least 5 years of relevant experience
* Automobile related diploma/certificate
* Strong Mechanical / Electrical knowledge
