To analyze, inspect and rectify faults in heavy material handling equipments like container handlers and forklift trucks by undertaking necessary troubleshooting and repairs and resolving customer complains adhering to prescribed product and service standards.

Principal accountabilities (Essential functions)
Diagnosis - Checks and inspects Electric & Diesel driven forklift trucks and container handlers for faults and arrives at the root cause of problem while allowing for accurate preparation of cost quotations.
Repairs - Ensures necessary repairs are carried out as per standard specifications with minimum downtime and resolving of defects resulting in customer satisfaction.
Job content:
Checks & diagnosis the forklift trucks using the diagnostic software in order to determine the cause of malfunctioning in order to carry out necessary and appropriate repairs.
Plans and carries out necessary repairs on site and in workshop, using standard and special tools and within the time frame, to ensure total customer satisfaction.
Assesses the cause of failure of parts and submits appropriate reports to analyze the fault & claims.
Utilize of material and man power in order to maintain high productivity and efficiency standards.
Prepare necessary reports and orders regarding repair, warranty, parts, defects etc.
Ensures the workplace is kept clean and adheres to the laid down safety standards.

Requirements

The selected candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;

* Minimum 5 years experience in the related field
* A strong electrical / mechanical  background
* Experience in electric & diesel forklift, automotive or related industry
* Excellent customer service and communication skills

Professional competences: Product-knowledge for special product divisions, handling of tools, analytical skills, organizational skills, documentation, professional handling of Linde Service software
Personal skills: Result-oriented acting, decision-making ability, ability to work under pressure, operational readiness, mobility, self-dependent and self-employed working, quality awareness &  willingness to learn.
