The Role


The Role


As a Material Engineer working within KEO’s Infrastructure Division, you will be responsible for the review, testing and recommendation of materials used on infrastructure construction sites such as waste-water treatment plants.

Qualified candidates will be required to demonstrate experience in the following:

• Evaluation and testing of all construction materials to ensure they comply with the contractual requirements and advising approvals and corrective action as appropriate.

• Analyzing test results periodically and recommending corrective action where applicable. Review of off-site testing and certificates of compliance.

• Attend all activities on site and ensure their compliance with QA/QC and conduct audits as required.

• Liaise with project stakeholders and advise on any QA/QC matters as required, compliance, contractual adherence.

Requirements


A minimum of 15 years post graduate experience, primarily in wastewater/sewerage treatment plants.

Previous experience gained within a Consultancy would be highly beneficial, whilst prior experience in the Gulf Region is advantageous along with familiarity with public and private sector clients.

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Registration of a recognized Professional Engineering Board such as PE (Professional Engineer) or C.Eng (Chartered Engineer) is preferred.
