Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Maintaining stock of material needed for maintenance of the plants.
- Maintain stock level at an economically acceptable optimum level by analyzing historical usage, change in lead times, identify spare parts interchangeability and change in use patterns
- Technical evaluation of vendors quotations for inventory replenishment items and newly created inventory materials
- Material requirement planning & control
- Forecast material requirements based on MRP Run in ERP system and analyze accuracy of Master Data in replenishment suggestion
- Replenishment of stock items, generate PRs, monitoring critical and shut down PRs
- Analyzing the present stock master and Identification of duplication for the materials helping in reduction of inventory items in SAP MM.

Requirements

Education
- A Bachelor degree in Engineering , preferable Mechanical engineering, with sound knowledge of materials
- Advanced education or qualification in Inventory Management/Material planning is an advantage
- SAP experience is Must
- Knowledge ASTM/API /ANSI code and standard is added advantage

Technical and Business
- 4-6 years related experience in similar area of Oil &gas/petrochemicals industries
- Proven ability to deliver projects or other relevant assignments on time, on budget and as promised
- Problem Solving Skills
- Analytical Skills
- Attention to details

Leadership and Interpersonal
- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively and provide support to peer and other service units
- Proven effective ness in analysis execution, delivering the result.
- Ability to get things done and deliver results under pressure.
