The RoleThe RoleOutstanding Role within Dynamic Company To oversee the Material Engineering function. Reporting to the Senior Purchasing Manager in our dynamic Central Procurement Department you will bring your expertise to make an immediate impact. - Manage Spare parts and material creation / development in SAP and maintenance of existing and new spare parts and common material supplies that is used by maintenance departments in Almarai. - Develop and maintain ALMARAI catalogue for spare parts and common materials / supplies and ensure compliance with standards and templates for creation and maintenance. -Develop a process to maintain continuous material cleansing that is created in SAP Material Master. Eliminate duplicates, maintain standardization, use international coding standards, manage walk down to ensure description in SAP matches with actual parts in stores. -Implement, and maintain Material master Creation process for spare parts and general supply material. -Participate in developing material specification with maintenance departments of spare parts and common technical material supply. -Identify and consolidate "common" items and continuously work on review and enhancement of catalogue items. -Establish ALMARAI cataloguing standards "templates for materials" Report statistic and KPI to ensure update, cleaned and complete the catalogue for materials. -Standardize the technical specification that enables competitive international sourcing. Develop a process to move away from OEM's to Parts manufacturers. -Develop classification process and procedure for spare parts and general supplies. |
RequirementsRequirementsYou may come from a Maintenance Engineering, Material Engineering, 'Technical / Engineering Spare Parts and general supply items' background with solid experience and knowledge of material classification and Coding / cataloguing and proven Material Engineering Manager in process manufacturing environment with vast experience in technical sourcing supplies of spare parts (mechanical, electrical, electronics, instrumentation and common parts) and thorough knowledge of technical / engineered equipment. Bachelor's degree or higher in Material Engineering or Mechanical / Electrical Engineering ) from well reputed and recognized university. Thorough experience in spare parts material cleansing projects and / or maintenance experience in process equipment preferred in FMCG factory. Must have knowledge of SAP ERP system, particularly MM module. Strong command of spoken and written English language. Computer literacy, numerate , detail oriented. Ability to research information, analyse data, develop independent conclusions, present and defend recommendations. Self-motivation, able to organize work and execute ;with minimal supervision.
