We are now recruiting talented individuals to fill our current vacancy for a Materials Engineer- Highways & Infrastructure to work on our projects in Doha, Qatar.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor QA/QC site procedures
- Supervise materials approval processing
- Attend factory inspection
- Ensure testing requirements satisfied
- Monitor material performance and write appraisal reports
- Prepare reports
- Assist in preparation of project design and specification
- Supervise material inspection at site
- Coordinate with Department contractors and other consultants
- Maintain material database
- Maintain library of relevant international standards
- Follow R&D of new material
- Attend material & QC meetings
- Keep up-to-date with new appropriate material
- Assist in the preparation of the documents noted in the flow chart of the manual of project procedures.

Requirements

* Degree in appropriate discipline
* Licensed/Registered with a recognised authority
* 12 years postgraduate experience
* 6 years related experience

The following is desirable:
* Preferably possessing a postgraduate degree in materials related discipline from a recognised university
* Preferably 3 years on permanent staff of Company
* Computer literate
