We are now recruiting talented individuals to fill our current vacancy for aMaterials Engineerto work on our projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and monitor QA/QC site procedures
* Supervise materials approval processing
* Attend factory inspection
* Ensure testing requirements satisfied
* Monitor material performance and write appraisal reports
* Prepare reports
* Assist in preparation of project design and specification
* Supervise material inspection at site
* Coordinate with Department contractors and other consultants
* Maintain material database
* Maintain library of relevant international standards
* Follow R&D of new material
* Attend material & QC meetings
* Keep up-to-date with new appropriate material
* Assist in the preparation of the documents noted in the flow chart of the manual of project procedures.
Requirements
* Experienced in Civil Engineering, Transport sector
* Must have more than 7 years experience in site supervision for similar projects
