Employment: Full Time

1. JOB PURPOSE :

- To lead the Purchasing of Materials, with best value, quality and services.
2. ACCOUNTABILITIES:
---------------------------------
- Manage the Purchase of materials and secure their supply in the right time within target cost, quantity and quality.
- Manage the Purchasing cycle from the time of placing the order till products arrival at port.
- Negotiate the best deal of cost, payment terms and services with suppliers.
- Identify & manage qualification of new suppliers.
- Develop suppliers reliability measures & track their performances.
- Develop and maintain good relationship/parternership with suppliers.
- Establish, deploy and track purchasing processes. Assure compliance with company policies on every commercial transaction.
- Assure compliance with company policies and country legal requirements on every commercial transaction.
- Ensure all purchasing documents are well processed, filed, maintained and accessible.
- Ensure all invoices are processed timely and paid to the suppliers as per agreed timing.
- Contribute to the company cost reduction program and inventory targets.
- Develop data base and benchmarking information of suppliers' cost & services.
- Manage products defects claims with suppliers.
- Coach Countries Purchasing resources on purchasing skills & processes.
- Contribute to building the organization capabilities by participating in recruiting, training, and implementing organization development and HR systems.

About the Company

Al-Fozan Group started out as a single company, Al-Fozan Building Materials, committed to equalizing this supply and demand imbalance. Visionary management and total dedication to quality and customer satisfaction saw the company grow exponentially in size, reputation and product lines.

Firmly established as one of Saudi Arabias leading companies, Al-Forans founders embarked on an ambitious diversification initiative. In 1983, Al-Foran Electrical Materials was formed. After a brief period of consolidating its amrket position, the parent company took its diversification a step further, and in 1991 Al-Fozan Wook Industries came into being. This was followed up by Al-Fozan Architectural Hardware in 19930 and ARC Engineering Consultants in 1994. Keeping pace with market developments, 1996 saw Al-Fozan Steel Industries and Building & Construction Company start operations. In 1999 the Group established Arnon Plastic Industries and in 2001 United Transformers Electric Company (Utec) followed by United Electronics (eXtra) and Projects & Supplies in 2002.

In order to increase diversification of revenue streams, the Group also holds an enquity stake in several affiliate ventures ranging from banks and petrochemical companies, to recycling and consumer retail operations.
