Materials Team Leader (35/35 rotation)

Job description / Role

We are currently working with a continuously growing Oil & Gas Operator who are conducting production and exploration operations in the Middle East. Due to continuous growth, our client is seeking an experienced Materials Team Leader to be site-based working a 35/35 rotation.

In this role you will responsible for coordinating material and equipment movements between the clients sites, managing the planning, coordination and evaluation of supply chain critical projects. You will report in to the Materials & Logistic Manager and will be responsible for:
- Coordinating material and equipment movements between the rig site and service company coordinators
- Coordinate personnel movements
- Generate and issue call-off documents and equipment load out lists for all equipment & services
- Assist with daily cost monitoring.
- Manage material and equipment inventories
- Maintain and provide records of all movements of purchased, rental or consignment equipment
- Coordinate delivery of equipment and materials including all documentation
- Influencing business partners on key aspects of forecasting, demand management, allocations and inventory policies
- Mentor, train and develop nationals

Requirements

- Degree qualified with 10+ years experience in a Materials position
- Proven supervisor experience. Able to demonstrate teaching, training and leading junior and multinational staff
- Strong Oilfield experience and understanding of all materials required
- strong management and communication skills with the ability to manage and work within a multi-culture and multi-disciplined team
- Experience in maintaining, developing and implementing ERP
- Health, Safety & Environmental conscious

Our client offers a fantastic opportunity working a 35/35 rotation, flights, site accommodation and a tax-free salary of up to $7,000 per month.

The preferred nationality would be Omanis but my client can consider expat nationals
