Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading engineering company based in Dubai. Our client is looking to hire a Mechanical Designer (HVAC) to join their organisation on a permanent basis.
You will manage and develop the approved concept design of HVAC into functional and efficient systems properly coordinated with other design disciplines. You will use HVAC systems for heating and cooling loads using Carrier HAP program / Elite Software. Exposure to duct sizing, static pressure loss and selection of fans, hydraulic calculations, section and specification of all types of HVAC equipments including chillers, chilled water pumps, AHU’s, FCU’s and HRW’s would be desirable.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have an excellent understanding of computer software such as Carrier E-20, HAP heat load, Elite software and Auto Cad. It is essential you have an in-depth knowledge of A/C and ventilation codes along with knowledge of plumbing and drainage codes including storm water, irrigation, water treatment systems, fire fighting and LPG. You should also have a good knowledge and understanding of fire systems and local regulations.
