Job description / Role
- Development and updating of multidisciplinary Engineering Drawings
- Drafting of P&IDs and piping design, including piping plans and isometrics
- Piping support design
- Drafting of civil and mechanical structure & Electrical / IE drawings
- Drafting of plot plans and layouts
- Drafting of ELDs and ILDS
- Drafting Architectural drawings
- BOQs calculations
- Drafting fabrication drawings
- Maintain Drawings database and control of drawings register
- Prepare as built drawings
- Design layout in 3D models of equipment, piping, structures and instrumentation in a skid with consideration to:
- Plans and designs Equipment Layout / General Piping Arrangement for oil & gas packages based on client specifications.
- Resolve issues during fabrication, such as physical clashes.
- Prepares piping isometric drawings for fabrication of both large and small bore.
- Designs and drafts support arrangement and provides material bill of quantity and specifications.
- Perform consistency checking of isometric drawing in comparison with P&I Diagram.
- Coordinate with other discipline for design related issues such as interfaces and tie-ins.
- Perform piping studies to assure quality of design.
- Develop a safe, economical and operable design in accordance with P & IDs and project guidelines and specifications.
- Ensure lines are correctly routed and supported in accordance with Project standards, guidelines and stress requirements.
- Provide a piping design with enough flexibility to minimize changes by stress calculations performed by stress engineers and analysis.
- Interface with discipline engineers and designers to ensure a coordinated design.
- Production of all piping deliverables of assigned areas in accordance with the project schedule.
- Estimate quantities of pipes, fittings, valves and other piping materials for design or project proposal purposes.
Requirements
- Must be living & working in the UAE
- Must be available to join the company in less than 1 month upon selection
- Must be able to get NOC from current Employer
- Must have experience working on the same positions (minimum of 5 years)
- Preferably within the Oil & Gas Sector
- Must hold a Bachelor's Degree (Fully Attested Diploma)
