Job description / Role
POSITION PURPOSE
• To assists Construction Design Supervisor in developing MEP Design Pack for the organization
• To ensure all design process are followed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
• To undertake Electrical, Mechanical (A/C) and Fire Fighting (Sprinkler) MEP designs for all KOJ stores and brands
• To distribute all design vocabulary and share it with all concerned people.
• To produce hard and soft copies of the design packs needed for BD, Mall, Municipality and Civil Defense submissions.
• To improve the design packs standards in order to match with local and universal standards.
• Designing of MEP preliminary plans.
• Producing new store MEP design pack in full. As per the brand standards.
• Producing design pack for stores being renovated, as per the business plans.
• Coordinating MEP designs with all concerned parties.
• Drafting all MEP designs and all design issues as a part of developing and upgrading design standers of the stores.
• Updating all MEP design packs and file and share it with all other designers as a part of the team work.
• Training of new staff for All Standards and drawing procedures.
• Presents 3D views, whenever is needed.
• Handle all site surveys within UAE.
• Visit site to check MEP installations.
• Meet with all Mall engineers to discuss and agree all MEP requirements.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS\REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Electrical Design
• Impeccable English –spoken and written
• At least 5 years minimum related experience
• Proficient with writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
