Mechanical Engineer - Oil & Gas

Job description / Role

- Prepare Filter vessel outline drawings in accordance with Companys technology standards, Design codes and client specifications.
- Prepare Equipment Datasheets (Filter Vessels, Valves, Basic instruments)
- Prepare Filter vessel internal drawings in complete detail for vendor input.
- Completely responsible for proper fit up and workability of internals. Activities include internals inspection and trial fit ups.
- Provide basic Skid design for Vendor Input, including design of piping, structure and assembly of complete package.
- Review of all vendor documents including Vessel GAs, Skid Gas, Detail fabrication drawings, Skid package drawings, Piping plans / isometrics.
- Liaison with vendors and client for completion of engineering documents submission and approval as per project schedule.
- Responsible for Supplier Document Index /schedule from start to completion of project.
- Prepare Installation & operation Manuals for all filter vessels being supplied by the Company.
- Review any other design documents necessary for completion of project.
- Start up and Commissioning of Mechanical filtration Vessels/ Skids.
- Provide support to Application Engineers in pre award stage. (design, drawings, estimation etc)

Requirements

- Provide support to other COMPANYS functions SLS & PTS.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experienced in Auto-Cad, Autodesk Inventor, PVELITE and Microstation.
- 5 years of experience in Static Equipment design (pressure vessels, piping, structure)
- Pressure vessel manufacturer Experience is preferable.
- Knowledge of client specifications like Aramco, SABIC, GASCO, PDO.
