Job description / Role
A leading EPC company is looking to hire a Mechanical engineer for their Dubai Operation. Candidate Should have a minimum of five year experience in handling the similar role
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing sustainable building design on numerous major projects including commercial, residential, tall tower and mixed-use developments
- Preparing & verifying designs and converting them to site worthy shop drawings
- Highlighting and clarifying discrepancies with the clients/designers in coordination with the superiors
- Coordinating with different services and ensuring compliance to standards and local regulations
- Leading, training and motivating team members to maximise quality
- Identifying and building up a multi skilled technical team
- Managing work of other engineers and drafters to meet project and client requirements
Requirements
To be successful in winning this role, the following are the prerequisites:
- Must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must be an engineer with a detailed knowledge of mechanical systems
- Must have extensive experience as a Mechanical Engineer in GCC / Gulf region
- Must be proficient in the design of sustainable mechanical systems including air cooled as well as water cooled central plants
- Must have experience in using computer design tools such as Revit MEP is essential
