Job description / Role
KEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award winning planning, architecture, engineering and project and construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
We are currently seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to work on a Sewerage Treatment Plant project in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will be expected to undertake project construction supervision for pumping stations, sewerage treatment plants and water treatment plants
Requirements
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in mechanical inspection and supervision roles on large infrastructure projects with specific experience in Sewerage / Waste Water Treatment Plants
• Awareness and vigilance with regards to all aspects of construction activity in order to provide quality assurance and safety standards in line with contractual agreements.
• Reviewing contractor’s change order proposals and providing suitable recommendations to the Construction Manager.
• Understanding, identifying and assessing project risk.
• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to maintain successful client relationships.
Qualifications:
Qualification: You will require a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Membership of a professional Engineering Institution would be beneficial. e.g. Chartered Engineer or PE. You will have a minimum of 10 year’s post graduate experience ideally within an Architectural, Engineering or Construction consultancy environment in the Gulf Region.
