The RoleThe RoleWill coordinate with the ARE's to carry out their duties effectively. Supervise Contractor’s works to achieve construction in accordance with the Contract Documents. Participate in contract administration. Review Contractor’s Submissions. Provide all necessary on-site direction and issue site memos Supervise site inspection staff. Attend to factory inspections. Ensure testing requirements satisfied. Supervise materials inspection at site. Check measure of work done. Observe site safety practices. Record and display progress vs. time programme for the ongoing Mechanical works. Assist ARE's with preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports. Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘as-built’ drawings. Any other tasks that the Project Manager may reasonably require. |
RequirementsRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University with Professional Engineering Registration from a recognized Professional Institution all approved by the Engineer. Minimum 12 years demonstrable experience in design and supervision of construction of sewerage and drainage projects but with particular emphasis on SEWAGE PUMPING STATIONS and PRESSURES PIPELINES. Must have ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, general reports, etc. Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills. |
