The RoleThe RoleDesign, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles. - Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications. - Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.. • Reviews standards for materials and equipment to ensure they are in accordance with the specifications. • Reviews shop drawing and construction-phase submittals when issues arise that require specific technical assistance. • Reviews design drawings and specifications at periodic check points as required by the PMP milestones. • Participates in value engineering and scope and budget reconciliation when required or requested. |
RequirementsRequirements- Minimum of 10 years experience as a mechanical engineer in a similar position. - Site experience with infrastructure and building projects. - Mechanical degree. - Registration as a professional engineer in Qatar is an advantage. - Fluency in English essential. - Transferable visa |
