Job description / Role
Salary: up to 15,000
Our Client is an Abu Dhabi based chemical manufacturing company, determined to meet the growing demand for aluminum fluoride in the Middle East and cover the part of the import requirement of the nearby regions.
At this new and exciting stage they are building the team, in this role you will be focused on leading and planning routine and urgent maintenance on the plant equipment and conducting repairs, dismantling, assembling and trouble shooting rotaries. You will also conduct inspections and maintenance on Rotary equipment such as Pumps, agitator, blowers, compressors, kiln's fans, gear boxes etc and making suggestions for improvements needed and have hands on experience with Static Equipment, Tanks, Vessels, Silo's, Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchanges and Rotary Equipment. As part of your role you will need to also monitor all the waste and materials needed for the care of the equipment
Supervising the Senior Mechanical Technicians teams who work on shifts you will be responsible for ensuring that shifts are covered properly and trained and performing their work to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Managing Failures and trouble shooting to minimize loss of production
- Inspect and review repairs on equipment
- Preventative Maintenance scheduling and management
- Staff Management of two Technician
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- 15 Years experience in similar role
- Chemical or Petro Chemical Industry Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent Staff Management skills
