Building Engineering
We deliver creative solutions for building projects for industry, government, commercial and leisure sectors. Our building engineering specialists have expertise in structural and building services engineering, fire engineering, acoustics, facades and seismic design. We embed sustainability principles in every design.
Job Summary
To inspect and witness all testing and commissioning activities of Mechanical Systems - HVAC, Fire fighting, Plumbing and Drainage, Potable water Systems and BMS instruments
Duties & Responsibilities
Make all installations checks prior to pre-commissioning activities
Make pre and post commissioning checks for all mechanical installations Completing check lists provided by immediate supervisor/s
Preparing site reports (related to progress of testing and commissioning activities)
Understand the requirement for performance testing of systems/equipment and ensure that the performances are matching project documents.
Understand testing and commissioning method statements.
Understand the test and commissioning plans.
Insist for testing calibration of testing and commissioning equipment
Requirements
Qualification
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Specific skills required
To handle and understand the testing and commissioning equipment. Should know how to take readings from measuring instruments. Should have knowledge to understand performance requirements of systems/equipment from Project Documents and ask for clarifications.
Good in communicating, in English.
Coordinating with Contractors/testing and Commissioning agencies
Non compromising with the performance
Experience
Minimum over all 8-10 years experience including gulf experience.
Experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems is must
