Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This is a site based role and the main functions will be to review and approve technical drawing submittals and coordinate with all engineering disciplines to deliver a world class project to KEO’s exacting quality standards.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who are able to demonstrate experience in the following:

• Experienced on split-faced stone installation and anchorage
• Monitor the quality of materials and method used for installation at site are in accordance to the approved specifications, drawings and method of works
• Attend the Daily Inspection Request in a timely manner and provide decision as per approved specifications, drawings and method of works
• Supervise Contractor works through daily ocular inspections on site and monitor if works are being carried our as per approved specifications, drawings and method of works
• Provide all necessary on site direction and issue site instruction as necessary
• Prepare records of progress and highlight site issues that may slow the progress of works
• Liaise with client, project management and contractor for resolution of project issues
• Check site conditions for suitability prior to commencing any works
• Inspect and monitor the materials delivered to site are in accordance to approved specifications and drawings
• Review specifications, drawings and method of works
• Supervise and guide contractor works through site surveillance
• Check and monitor daily manpower by the contractor on site
• Perform other jobs as technical review, full design coordination with other disciplines and provide recommendations to problems encountered on site

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Over 5 years Mechanical Engineering experience including site experience and construction supervision.
• Good command of both written and spoken English is a pre-requisite for this role.
• Prior experience in the Gulf Region is preferred.
