Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our major international Oil and Gas client requires a Mechanical Inspector to ensure to oversee all mechanical activities are carried out safely and in accordance with the firm`s policies and protocols.

Liaising closely with the Manager of Projects, the role will involve the management of the day to day running of the mechanical department. Typical duties will involve:

- Ensuring that all employees under management are well versed HSE training.
- Create and implement risk assessments, job safety analysis and safe methods of working.
- Assist other departments within the firm with mechanical quotations and appraisals.
- Management of all mechanical staff.
- Ensure that all mechanical tools and equipments are maintained.
- Monitor man-hours worked against the budget.
- Liaise regularly with project managers providing updates on mechanical work.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe manner.

Requirements

Only candidates with the following criteria will be considered:

- Minimum of 15 years experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Proven experience of managing large teams.
- Engineering degree/qualification.
