Job description / Role
- Interact with customers and understand the value of excellent customer service delivery.
- Supervise installations
- Perform PM on GT packages, Power Turbine change-outs, compressor overhauls, alignments
- Verify OEM installation instruction and readings e.g., baseplate levelness, alignment.
- Interpret P&ID & dimensional drawings
- Understanding of basic controls
- Commission equipment
- Troubleshoot and start-up of equipment
- Perform Root Cause Analysis if necessary
- Communicate progress, schedules, and open items with client
- Prepare detailed technical reports
- Provide logistical support to the client and assigned PM
- Assist PM, HR & Resource manager with on-boarding of FSR's/ technicians
- Helps in preparation and delivery of OTJ training for FSR's/ technicians
- Provide coaching to FSR's
- Assist with client training on new packages
- Observe on-site Security & HSE procedures, in line with OEM specifications
- Maintain comprehensive customer activity reports for customer inspection
- Provide detailed site reports
- Provide Action Requests/ anomaly reports for Field Service Managers and manufacturing plant field engineering groups
- Develop equipment installation, maintenance and overhaul schedules with customer input
- Assist with Performance testing, vibration analysis, rotor-dynamic analysis, and root cause analysis.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Solid project management experience, certification is a huge plus.
- Chemical/Petrochemical industry experience is a must
- Engineering degree (industrial/mechanical) is required
- Excellent presentation, communication, and leadership skills are essential
- Saudis or non Saudis with transferable iqama only
- Should be already in Khobar or willing to move there
