MECHANICAL MANAGER, ROTATING EQUIPMENT - RUSSIA

Position: Mechanical, Rotating Equipment Manager
Industry: Oil and Gas
Location: Russia
Salary: Highly competitive
Pre-requisite: Experience abroad on international projects

My client, a leading International operator, is currently looking for a Mechanical Manager specialising in Rotating Equipment with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas.

Responsibilities and duties

- Organise and lead a working group in Mechanical Rotating Equipment
- Supervise FEED Contractors for all field instrument activities
- Review, analyse and approve technical documents prepared by contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers in order to ensure compliance to all technical requirements affecting the discipline
- Define the scope of supply of Long Lead Items (LLIs) and Critical Equipment packages, including Unit Control Panels (UCPs).
- Participate to the technical evaluation of the proposals for critical equipment and main contracts.
- Ensure the instrumentation and instrument systems are designed to meet the required Russian and international norms and Standards, ensuring any gaps are identified and analysed and solutions identified.

Qualifications Skills and Experience
-10+ years total experience in design/ design review
- Extensive experience in Oil and Gas design
- Ability to communicate with partners and Russian Authorities
- International experience
