The RoleThe RoleImmediate need for a highly analytical Senior Mechanical Engineer with Process Piping Design, Tank or Vessel design experience to work for a leading engineering firm in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently evaluating, selecting and applying engineering principles and practices relevant to the project requirements. Must be capable of acting as Lead Engineer on multiple projects, working with the design team to prepare design documents, supervising less experience engineers and technical support personnel while simultaneously ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule and budget. In addition, write bid specifications, perform equipment inspections, write material specifications during the engineering, procurement and construction phase. A four-year technical degree in engineering and a minimum of 8 years progressively responsible experience is required. A candidate with previous experience as a Lead Piping or Mechanical, Project Engineer on a SPCC Phase I study or Lead Mechanical Engineer for new package boilers, and a Western Degree is highly preferred. |
