Employment: Full Time

Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Applies approved section policies, processes and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.

Day-to-day Management
- Applies day to day activities assigned for the section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.

Job Specific Accountabilities
- Carry out day-today maintenance activity & troubleshooting as per the work instruction received.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on equipment's as per the standard operating procedure
- Perform necessary maintenance on assigned equipment, run operating tests to ensure satisfactory repair
- Locates specification sheet, manufacturer data sheet, reads all kinds of blueprints and diagrams as necessary to satisfactorily complete work assignments.
- Identifying and uses appropriate tools based on the job and safety requirements
- Checking the equipment to locate the fault, decides on appropriate method of repair in consultation with supervisor and carries out the job by dismantling, assembling, carrying out dimensional checks, replacement and repair of the parts
- Salvages all material possible on assigned job
- Perform other job related task which are essential to complete the job and are within the ability of the employee
- Practice good housekeeping including jobsite clean-up & confirm to safety standards, rules & practice
- Discussing the major overhaul and repair jobs with the Supervisor to plan their removal to the workshop for repair, replacement or reassembly
- Assisting the Supervisor/vendor in complex repairs, critical equipment shutdown and helps in maintaining data log generating detailed report of jobs
- Perform high skilled diagnostic and task as required.
- Carrying out complex repairs doing minor troubleshooting following the maintenance plan or in response to failure of equipment
- Carrying out in-house refurbishment of components and sub-assemblies of equipments and checks adherence to all parameters before handing over to warehouse.
- Participating in carrying out the major equipments, area or unit shut down, and Turnarounds in the Plant
- Prepare new or altered installations on all types of related equipments / system.
- Provide general guidance and work direction to a group of technicians
- Make verbal / written reports to supervisor regarding condition or problem encountered on job assignments
- Participate in meeting the department objective / projects
- Taking initiative to implement continuous improvement programs, proposes improvements in all kind of maintenance programs in technical and safety areas, is involved in punch listing, commissioning and pre-commissioning activities.
- Complying with all EHSS and fire related rules and regulations and observes all requirements stringently.
- Responsible for carrying out duties safely. Comply with company safety procedures, regulations, and programs. Also enhance the safety of his section by attending companys monthly safety meetings.

Reporting
- Prepares reports in a timely and continuous manner to meet company requirements, policies and standards.
Prepare and release the statistical report on backlogs, prepare the key performance indicator

Requirements

Academic and professional qualifications:
- Engineering Diploma in Mechanical.

Experience:
- Minimum 10 years maintenance experience in oil, gas, petrochemical, chemical, fertilizers or related industry.

Languages:
- Minimum English language required is IELTS-5 (GT).
- Fluent Arabic/ Working knowledge of Arabic.

Skills:
- Familiar with work permit & lockout procedure
- Ability to use all kinds of testing equipments
- Awareness about Hazardous Area Classifications
- Very good initiative and team player
- Excellent analytical, technical skills & ability to spot potential problems
- Familiar with SAP based maintenance workflow
- Familiar with use of usage of computer & office softwares
