Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Media & Content Manager has one primary objective: To develop, implement and manage a media relations strategy to enhance TAKAUDs brand awareness. The position will also be responsible for creating, writing, managing and executing an integrated content strategy that enriches the Companys brand and ensures that traditional and digital content is consistent in quality, tone-of-voice, style and properly optimized across print and digital channels.

Media Relations
- Develop, execute and manage a comprehensive annual media relations plan for the Companys marketing activities.
- Create and manage favourable working relationships with the media.
- Manage an updated Messaging House/ positioning statement and enforce it with key spokespersons and Sales teams.
- Write weekly/monthly press releases and organise media events and interviews to ensure a constant news flow for TAKAUD in the relevant media, including TAKAUDs own channels.
- Produce executive speeches, and draft major internal announcements.
- Conduct media monitoring and evaluation (Analytics) on media outcomes against marketing targets.

Marketing Content
- Develop, manage and own a business-driven integrated content strategy for the Company across all communication channels.
- Research and write content for online and offline marketing deliverables, including newsletters, advertising material, white papers, case studies, presentations, sales scripts and email campaigns.
- Maintain a macro view of all content related to the Company and its lines of business/ offerings.
- Research and make recommendations for topics and content based on trends within the Companys competitive landscape.

Marketing Collateral
- Plan, execute and manage the production of marketing collateral for new and existing offerings/ channels through copywriting and working with external agencies on design and print production.
- Writes persuasive copy that encourages action in prospects and customers, and strengthens brand awareness for the Companys offerings.
- Manage adherence to the corporate brand guidelines in all communications and where appropriate, further develop/ evolve the brand guidelines to support consistency and dynamic branding.
- Build corporate slide decks, occasional video & photography, and create collateral for business proposals and presentations.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years experience, 3 of which in a similar role
- Bachelors degree in Marketing or Communications, masters preferred

PREFERRED:
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic, French desired.
- Proven experience in content marketing and brand journalism.
- Experience of managing press releases in English and Arabic.
- Self-motivating, confident and strong personality.
- Experience in liaising with external PR & Ad agencies.
- The ability to communicate in a business language internally and externally.
