Job description / Role
Manages operation stakeholder externally, develops and maintains a proactive media relations program and scouts and researches story ideas, develops relationships with journalists and places stories and commentary to ensure that Zain key messages reach intended public.
Planning
* Setting project and actions plan for department.
Media Relations Management
* Develop story concepts and writes compelling press releases, public service announcements and media advisories.
* Manage the function from article preparation and publishing to reporting, archiving and relations maintenance.
* Develop and maintain relationships with journalists and Media.
* Manage the flow of news about the organization to the media.
* Ensure the company protects and promotes its image in a proper, coordinated, and consistent manner.
People Management
* Coach and enhance team skills and knowledge sharing
* Manage engagement teams, setting deliverables & objectives and evaluate performance.
Requirements
Industry / Domain
* Media, Journalism
Knowledge and Experience
* Knowledge in Economic Press, English is a must, 5-8 years' experience in the field of MEDIA relations including 4 years in manger level.
Education and Certification Requirements
* BSc. Journalism, Communications or related field
