Medical Affairs Manager

Job description / Role

An Excellent opportunity has arisen to work for Multi National Pharmaceutical company in Dubai.

Reporting to the Medical Director you will be responsible for the following:
- Develop local and implement corporate clinical trial programmes by advising, guiding and managing protocol development from concept phase to implementation in line with program timelines and financial budgets
- Develop and foster strong relationships with KOL through active participation in advisory boards and meetings
- Collect and analyse data related to hospitals needs and responses to products and services in order to assist in the development of marketing and sales strategies
- Liaise with marketing and sales teams in order to ensure the medical and scientific accuracy of the promotional materials and the respect of company guidelines, local legislation and ethics
- Participate in the process of planning the product strategies and in adapting the concepts and the product positioning
- Organise medical conferences and scientific meetings in order to promote products
- Keep abreast with research findings and provide recommendations for the marketing and sales management
- Up-to-date knowledge of priority products, their competitors and the concerned therapeutic fields and disseminate the information regularly to the concerned teams
- Liaise with clinical operations and support them in the initiation visits with the scientific content and follow up with Clinical Operations for conduction of clinical trials (initiation, follow-up, completion and communication)
- Act as a point of contact for medical information related to products in the assigned therapeutic areas

Requirements

- Candidates must have a degree in medical medicine
- A qualified pharmacist or doctor
- Arabic speaker
- Minimum 4 years Pharmaceutical Industry experience including 2 years medical function experience preferable in multinational organizations
- Experience with Onco and Cardio portfolio is a must
- Working knowledge of clinical therapeutic practice - a plus
- Clinical experience in related field - a plus
