Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Maintain a high standard of medical care and clinical credibility, utilizing current clinical research.
- Undertake counseling and support where required and refer as appropriate.
- Monitor health surveillance activities and programs for groups who have been identified at risk.
- Advise on specific occupational health issues including fitness to work and rehabilitation.
- Demonstrate cultural awareness within the work place.
- Assist the Chief Medical Officer in developing the policies and procedures appropriate to the needs of the department.
- Monitor the performance and work of the nursing team identifying areas for improvement.
- Assisting in the implementation of departmental management programs and participate in audit and quality programs as required.
- Participate in organizational meetings and activities as required.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- To carry out any duties that may be required to ensure the efficient running of the medical service

Requirements

- Doctor of Medicine (5 years Medical School & 1 year internship in Medicine & Surgery)
- Medical Permit from Dept. of Health, Dubai.
- 5 years experience
- Experience / qualification in Occupational Health.
