Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

AED 30,000 – 40,000 + private medical, annual ticket and bonus.

Nationality: Must be from a native English speaking country / Males aged between 35 -45 years.

Must have a full clean UAE Driving License.

Kershaw Leonard is currently working for a niche specialist medical treatment centre with a particular expertise in the area of sports medicine. Established for over a decade their qualified team comprises western trained experts in various fields’ from surgeons to physiotherapists to hydrotherapists. From their well appointed clinic they act to provide patients with an individualized care program aimed at swiftly returning them to full heath.

They now seek to appoint a new medical office manager. This is a very important role offering an ambitious energetic individual the chance to really make their mark in a progressive growing practice.

The main duties of the role will be as follows:

Operational Planning:
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive operation manual and clear structural operational procedures
• Establishment and implementation of clinic polices and code of conduct
• Maintenance of the rental and maintenance agreements for the practice
• Conduct meetings with staff to review and brief re: implementation of structured procedures

Marketing:
• Conduct research and planning to identify new opportunities for new services, locations and personnel
• Development of the clinic’s overall marketing strategy
• Preparation of audio-visual presentations about services
• Organization of promotional visits and various articles and lectures
• Design of various marketing collateral to promote the clinic
• Planning of events and promotional campaigns

Human Resources:
• Responsibility for recruitment of new staff
• Producing relevant job descriptions and planning of staff deployment
• Organisation of staff education /training plans
• Planning of individual or group training courses as needed
• Conducting of bi-annual staff appraisals, carrying out salary revisions and incentive and increment plans
• Implementation of staff reward/grievance processes as needed
• Administration of employee’s attendance, working hours and vacation processes
• Ensure ongoing compliance in all official documents with government regulations
Customer Service:
• Implementation and monitoring of patient surveys dealing appropriately with suggestions /complaints
• Communicate with patients throughout the process

Other:
• Ensure smooth running of suppliers’ ordering accounting and payment processes
• Overall responsibility for the clinic’s appearance, maintenance and performance

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must have the following skills /attributes:

• 3 years experience in a similar role at least 1 year of which should have been gained in the UAE
• Be energetic and client facing with the ability to instill confidence in others
• Possess a strong marketing flair and the ability to “think outside the box”
• There is a preference for male candidates from native English speaking countries
• Possession of at least a Degree and preferably an MBA
• A high level of PC Literacy including all MS Office programs
