Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Reporting in to the Merchandise Planning Manager you will have 2 direct reports to assist you. You will primarily be responsible for ensuring the development, implementation and control of all elements of merchandise planning.

Your prior experience will enable you to successfully interpret the strategy required and to build the merchandise and range plans. This will include trading different brands across the seasons and conducting pre-season and post-season analysis to support your strategies. These plans will be completed in accordance with budgets that you have assisted preparing and are balanced, achievable and in support of business objectives. Controlling stock and purchases in a timely manner will also be important.

Requirements

Tertiary qualified you will have proven experience in apparel planning. With strong communication and relationship management skills you will also be adept at the analytical side and have the ability to problem solve and translate large quantities of data.
