Job description / Role
Our client, a reputable company based in the UAE, is currently looking for a Merchandising Director for their operations in Dubai.
As a Merchandising Director, you will act as a support services to Buying & Operations. Direct a current team within the merchandizing department in a rapidly growing and diversifying organization. You will also support a current compliment of staff in the Buying, Operations and Marketing departments.
Requirements
An ideal candidate for this role must have an MBA degree and with a minimum of 5 years equivalent business experience gained through senior retail positions with exposure to Merchandise, Procurement, Supply Chain, Category Management, Promotions and Space Management. You must be able to communicate at all levels, can be articulate with comfort focus, demands, structure and strategy. Candidate should have strong problem solving skills and problem mitigation skills and also be able to give and receive feedback with ease and apply aptly in the necessary areas of the role. Able to debate and negotiate at all levels.
