Job description / Role
Our client, a multinational FMCG company is currently looking for a Merchandising / Field Supervisor to join their team in Dubai.
You will ensure that your team meets the targets by leading, coaching and developing individual capabilities. You will also identify and support additional value creating opportunities that drive customer sales in support of the volume, share and profit objectives of the market.
Main Responsibilities:
Team Coaching:
Measure the set of performance indicators for each direct report
Deliver the coaching & development plan, including regular feedback sessions, for each direct report
Adapt coaching and mentoring styles to the learning styles of merchandisers’ direct reports
Collection, analysis and reporting of relevant information/ data
Create, organize and execute inspirational events to maximize team effectiveness in achievement of business objectives.
Effectively engage direct reports with the company and functional values, objectives and strategy.
Administration:
Collection, analysis and reporting of relevant information/ data
Manage the company assets
Collaborate internally with other business functions
Performance Management:
Ensure alignment of merchandisers to known customer and shopper needs
Support the delivery of customer compliance to contractual agreements
Build sustainable business relationships with assigned customers
Ensure retail engagement and activation programs roll out
Ensure the facilitation of effective on-time in-store communication
Ensure accurate and up-to-date master data maintained
Demand Building:
Propose solutions for specific causes of business issues to improve the client's level of engagement
Adapt communication approach to meet specific customer needs
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and attributes :
5-7 years’ experience working in the field with reputable FMCG firm
Knowledge about the UAE market especially within FMCG industry
Distributor/customer management
Team management experience
Go getter personality
Proficient in Microsoft
Bachelor's degree
Must be fluent in English (written & speaking)
