The RoleThe RolePrinciple Responsibilities Manage the identification and assessment of Merchant segment development trends, opportunities and threats. Identify, qualify and quantify market specific opportunities, and understand factors critical to successful merchant development. Contribute to the development of the Merchant Sales plan and strategy Business plan development including strategy, planning and implementation. Establish and manage budget requirements for the Merchant Sales segments in the sub-region Gain a strong understanding of Visa´s products and services as well as the entire payments industry. Provide adequate training of relationship management staff. Provide qualified sales support for individual clients. Represent Visa by speaking at conferences and business meetings and undertake public relations activities where appropriate. Provide professional advice and consultancy to merchants. |
RequirementsRequirementsRequired Skills & Experience: Bachelor's Degree or MBA Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and / or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills to influence senior level bankers. Strong business development and relationship management skills Candidate must have the ability to travel frequently |
