Employment: Full Time

Supreme Group are looking to hire an experienced Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) Manager to provide transactional advice, support and execution on M&A activities globally in order to achieve its strategic objectives. This role will be based in Dubai, UAE.

Ideal candidates need to possess a minimum of 8 years' experience post qualification within the North African commercial market space and must be able to communicate in English, Arabic and French.

The primary purpose of the M&A Manager will be to research, evaluate and recommend new business opportunities in accordance with Supreme Groups expansion strategy; make appropriate recommendations to the Principals and the Executive Committee; and manage internal and external transaction execution teams.

KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Research, evaluate and recommend new business opportunities to Principals and Executive Committee
- Participate in all stages of transaction execution, including strategy, due diligence, valuation, financial impact analysis, negotiation, definitive documentation, and integration
- Perform valuation analysis using various methodologies including discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, etc. Develop detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and analyze impacts of different transaction structures
- Administer large/complex due diligence projects to identify accounting, business and regulatory issues impacting the valuation. Ensure the assumptions in the final valuation model are in line with historical measures, incorporate all known risks and properly reflect the value of the target company
- Quantify issues uncovered during the due diligence and ensure proposed adjustments to the preliminary valuation model are incorporated into the valuation model prior to the final decision process
- Serve as a point of contact with relevant managers in the target company, coordinate information needs and on-site visits and negotiate appropriate access to information and personnel during the due diligence process
- Formulate implementation plans to ensure new projects are completed on time and within budget. Identify, along with the appropriate stakeholders, the resources required for each project
- Identify integration issues, and provide guidance to relevant stakeholders to facilitate a successful integration
- Collaborate with consulting firms/advisors to facilitate their efforts, when they are brought in to assist with Company acquisitions
- Assist with development of relationships with prospective partners, prepare tailored strategic partnership proposals, and create deal terms and strategies
- Prepare messages, information and communication plans for presentation, as appropriate for internal and external stakeholders including Principals, Executive Committee, Consultants and Managers from target companies

Requirements

- 8 years post qualification experience in a Big 4 firm, Private Equity, Consultancy, or Corporate Development function in a multinational/regional organization
- In-depth financial modeling, company valuation, business planning & transaction management experience
- Excellent writing skills required for reports and presentations
- Must possess strong relationship management, communication, influencing & decision making skills
- Possess strong quantitative and analytic skills, an understanding of key profitability drivers, analysis of financials, and an understanding of international industry practices
- Possess a strong drive towards results combined with high personal integrity standards and corporate stewardship
- A strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
- Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and multiple-engagement environment

DESIRABLE
- MBA or equivalent degree (MBA or CFA preferred)
- Operational work experience
- Project management experience handling medium to large and complex projects
