Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is large joint venture between one of France's premiere construction contractors and an indigenous Qatari company. They have many projects ongoing in the construction of Lusail City and are in need of a Method CAD Draftsman. Candidate should have some experience with metro, rail, etc. projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Involved in the structural detailing of rail/metro structures and infrastructure.
- Involved in the preparation of railway track alignment & services.
- Technical Design.
- Regular interaction with team members and other departments to understand the design requirements and make appropriate CAD actions.
- Preparation of overall GAD, Profiles, Sectional & Numeration drawings.
- Preparation of Pre stressing and RC Detailed Drawings for related structures.
- Preparation of Bill of Quantities & BOQ Reports.
- Setting out & Shop Drawings
- Provide the document controller with necessary information for the drawings register.
- Prepare bill of materials as needed.

Requirements

* Civil Engineer.
* CAD Draftsman.
* Experience with metro, rail, subway, etc. preferred.
* 5+ years experience in similar role.
* Previous GCC experience preferred.
* South Asian nationals preferred.
