Middle East IT Operations Analyst,
Up to AED 22,000 per month,
Dubai, UAE

Our client, an international law firm, are currently seeking a Middle East IT Operations Analyst.

As the IT Operations Analyst you will be required to provide operational support, maintenance and troubleshooting to the Middle East IT operations environment. Review and monitor the Middle East infrastructure and identify improvements and make recommendations as necessary. You will be working in conjunction with global service delivery team to ensure infrastructure updates and security best practice is adhered to and undertake support work and deal with customer support issues, in a prompt and efficient manner.

Working within the team, some responsibilities will include:

• Ensure that all Middle East IT services are available 24x7, except during planned periods of system unavailability.
• Provide second and third line support to the Service Desk for the investigation and resolution of issues.
• Responsible for ensuring that the whole Middle East environment is fully supported and that suitable support and maintenance contracts are in place. This includes maintaining good work relationships with 3rd party providers.
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of disaster recovery procedures (DRP) as an integrated part of the firm's overall Business Continuity Management plans.

Requirements

Technical Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience with Windows 2003 Server OS
• Good knowledge of all Windows client OS
• Knowledge of Citrix, and an understanding of a Terminal Server Environment.
• Remote Access, Web Interface, PNAgent and CSG exposure, an advantage
• Experience with Sysprep and cloning software
• An understanding of an Active Directory domain including Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, WINS
• An understanding of MS SQL, Exchange
• Good knowledge of LANDesk
• Good understanding of Network Infrastructure
• Advanced LAN management in CISCO environment
• CISCO Voice over IP
• Knowledge of HP Server Hardware
• Good understanding of other office systems, such as Printing, Faxing, Scanning.
• Specialist knowledge of local applications
• MCSE (Microsoft), CCNA (Cisco) or CCEA (Citrix)
• WSH, VBS scripting ability
