Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual that will implement the Rolls-Royce Technology Laboratories process and infrastructure in selected countries within the Middle East

The objectives of this role are:

• Establish effective working relationships within the Ministry of Education in UAE and Saudi Arabia.
• Establish effective working relationships with the schools nominated by the respective Ministries of Education
• Contribute to the Technology Labs project planning and implementation process
• Ensure appropriate MoUs between Rolls-Royce and Ministries of Education are agreed prior to implementation
• Deliver the necessary resources and support to each of the nominated schools
• Support the sustainment process for continued delivery in each of the nominated schools

This role will report both to the Regional Director Middle East and Regional Director, Saudi Arabia. It will work closely with the Technology Laboratories Project Team led by Global Head of Customer & Product Training, based in the UK.

Skills required

Must be an excellent communicator that is able to:
• Deliver presentations and key messages effectively to senior authority(ies)
• Build effective relationships, nurture and manage them
• Influence senior management and senior authority(ies)
• Communicate fluently in English and Arabic

• Project Management basics – needs to be able to formulate a work plan and follow it up

• Highly motivated and results driven – able to deliver results and deadlines against the formulated work plan

• Process oriented – able to follow a process and comply with it

Personal Requirements:
• Native Arabic speaker – full reading and speaking capability
• Fluent English speaker
• Current home address: Abu Dhabi (UAE) or Riyadh (KSA)
• Education: Graduate level
• Must be acceptable to Middle East Ministries of Education
• Must be able to represent Rolls-Royce in the Middle East

Type of employment: Temporary contract until 31 December 2012, part-time basis.
