Job description / Role
Tile Adhesive Market Manager is a dual responsibility function covering Commercial and Technical aspects as a Mini Target Market function. Candidate will be responsible for establishing Sika Presence in the massive Tile adhesive market across GCC with focus on KSA
Main Responsibilities:
- To develop Tile Adhesive Market Business Plan which should start with Market survey (local competition, channels to the market, pricing, field tests) followed by an Action plan (new Sika adhesive portfolio definition/localizing, field testing, certification, marketing stuff preparation brochures, samples, mock-ups) and successful launch to the market through the right sales channels (Sika showrooms, Direct sales, Boutique tile shops, Pro-Dealers) pricing, workshops, customer and Sika employees trainings.
- Candidate will have to balance his activities, the Push approach through direct sales channels(Mega Projects) and indirect sales channels ( Distribution) as well as his Pull approach in the market by presenting our top of the line range to Major consultant and Key owners as Sika full system solution with one Great Brand (Sika) all supplied from one manufacturer.
Requirements
- Strategic and Analytic thinking (ability to process markey surveys and define action plan
- Ability to define product portfolio and quality specifications.

- Sales and Negotiation Skills
- Management Skills
- Understanding of Technical standards related to Tile Adhesive - EN 12004, EN 13888 and Test methods related to standards
- Technical skills ,hand-on, mock-up preparation, field testing, application skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales or Civil Engineering with a minimum of 10 yrs experience in the field of Tile Adhesives with proven track record of success.
- Experience in the GCC Market will be an added value. Ability to communicate clearly and read & write effectively in English.
- Arabic language skills will be an asset.
